In the light of blackout being experienced by some communities in Isolo/Ejigbo axis, for the past three months, the interim Managing Director, Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), Usman Muhammed, has shown concern, saying that the work being done on Ejigbo transformers would be completed by March.
“We have already upgraded one transformer. We are upgrading the second one; that is what we are doing. All of them will be completed before March 31,” he said. .
In his remarks, the Head, Corporate Communications, Ikeja Electric, Felix Ofulue, disclosed that at present, the company was distributing to the communities the little energy it was getting from the Ejigbo sub-station
He added that the residents would have better supply after the completion of the upgrade of the facility.
