The increase of 60,127 metered customers in July reflects a rise from the 5,993,340 recorded in June.
According to NERC’s statistics, the overall number of electricity customers in July 2024 stood at 13,296,829.
Consequently, the number of unmetered electricity customers during this period was 7,243,332.
Further analysis reveals that the number of customers without meters continues to exceed those who are metered.
