Murray-Bruce, who was on oversight visit with his colleague in the Aviation Committee to the airport added that many people are coming to the Airport to carry out totally unrelated businesses.

SAD! @LOSairport is a marketplace. 80% of people here are not passengers. People coming around to carry out totally unrelated businesses.

New terminal
On the ongoing new terminal building , Senator Murray-Bruce observed that master plan wasn’t followed.

“Senate Committee on Aviation currently at Lagos Airport. New terminal building ongoing but master plan wasn’t followed!
“They abandoned the original design and rather planted Chinese terminals with no linkage to MM1. A total deviation from the original design.
We have also inspected the power plant at the Lagos airport. N800m needed in order for the airport to have uninterrupted power supply. pic.twitter.com/HctsHtQA7I
