President Bola Tinubu has pledged to implement infrastructure projects in every region of Nigeria. He emphasized his commitment to initiatives that will allow Nigerians to experience the benefits of effective governance during his administration.
Tinubu made these remarks during the inauguration of a newly constructed rural road connecting A2 Junction (Abuja–Lokoja Expressway) to the Pai community in the Kwali Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), coinciding with the second anniversary of his presidency.
He expressed his determination to replicate projects like the A2 to Pai road throughout the country, highlighting their significance. “We will not stop,” he assured, stating that such initiatives would enhance the lives of Nigerians.
“We will continue until every Nigerian can experience meaningful governance. This project will elevate our lives as long as this administration prioritizes infrastructure development in all regions. It is strategic because it opens new avenues for agriculture, commerce, education, mobility, and more, thereby strengthening our national economy from the grassroots level,” he explained.
Tinubu underscored the importance of communities like Pai to the nation’s social and economic landscape, particularly in food production and local businesses. He lamented that inadequate road infrastructure had previously limited the community’s potential. “Today, that narrative is changing,” he stated.
The president urged residents to fully embrace and take ownership of the new road.
