
The Federal Government of Nigeria has shed more light on the collapse of the grid that took place on Tuesday night.
The breakdown analysis was released through its twitter handle on Wednesday.
According to the statement, the incident led to a shutdown of the pipeline supplying gas to Egbin 1, 320MW; Olorunsogo NIPP 676MW, Olorunsogo 338MW, Omotosho NIPP 450MW, Omotosho 338 MW and Paras 60MW power stations.
The Federal Government has assured Nigerians that it was on top of the situation, adding it would rectify the problem as soon as possible.
“We urge members of the public to bear with us,bas we work to overcome this set back, which will be temporary,” it said.
