A real estate development firm, Posh Hauzes Ltd, has urged the Federal Government and state governments to assist the real estate industry in the country.
Acccording to the firm, the real estate is one of the key sectors that provide employment opportunities.
This was disclosed by Hajiya Hauwa Zubair, the Managing Director of the company recently at the company’s Dinner and Award night in Abuja.
She called on the Government to provide lands for the real estate developers, saying that this would go a long way in providing affordable housing for the low income earners.
She said: “The government should provide lands for developers, there are lots of developers out there that are willing to do what we are doing but, the problem is the unavailability of lands, she stated.
“They should provide lands at very affordable rates so that we can be able to provide affordable houses for the masses”.
She said that Posh Hauzes is ready to provide housing for low income earners by providing quality affordable housing through flexible payment plans.
She noted that for the past three years, through efforts and hard-work, the company has been able to provide masses with decent homes at affordable prices.
She also pin-pointed the role of women in the real estate industry, adding that they are there to being quality, and not to encourage unhealthy competition.
“Women bring quality, compassion, empathy and won’t compromise quality and that is what we need in the real estate sector. We should not see ourselves as competitors rather let’s do more partnership in 2021. We want a lot of professionalism in our field.,” she said.
